Monthly Payment Option
Introduced on April 6, 2021, we introduced the Monthly Payment Option (MPO) for our Visitors to Canada Emergency Medical Insurance Plans. This helps visitors to Canada purchase the quality emergency medical coverage they need with convenient equal monthly payments.
To qualify for the Monthly Payment Option, the plan must be purchased for 180 or more travel days and have a minimum sum insured of $100,000. On the application date of the policy we will collect two-month’s premium and the $50 non-refundable Billing Fee. This initial premium collected will be applied to the end of the monthly payment schedule. On the start date of the policy equal monthly payments will be applied to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Prorated refunds are available less the applicable administration fees as per the policy wording.

About the Canadian Super Visa
The Canadian government introduced the super visa in 2011. It allows grandparents and parents of Canadian citizens and Canadian permanent residents to visit Canada on a multiple entry visa that allows for stays for up to two years at a time. Since introducing the super visa more than 17,000 people are awarded this visa each year. This visa program is very popular with visitors from India, China, Philippines, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
A requirement of the super visa is that applicants (and travellers) must have proof of emergency medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company. It is required that each policy have a minimum sum insured of $100,000 for hospitalization, personal healthcare, and repatriation, and be valid for a minimum of one year. Source
